Firstly, Google Trend is a service by Google showing the latest top searched term. It is updated constantly to show what people are searching at that moment. Often, this is due to news and events that are happening around. These keywords usually have very low competition. So what can we do to tap onto this sudden surge in search volume?

What I usually do is I will write articles that target those keywords. Then, I will ping them and submit them to social bookmark sites. The articles will be linked to a money site that either sell a related Clickbank product or CPA offer. For instance, in Nov 16 2009, the top searched term is “meteor shower november 16th”.  Quickly, I threw up a few articles on how to take photo of the Leonid meteor shower and link them to a Clickbank product on photography. Instantly, I made 3 sales for that day. Not bad for an hour of work.

Of course, you can also use PPC marketing to send the traffic to a CPA offer. One of the easiest ways is to create a poll site that link the visitor to a email submit offer. This method is quite saturated nowadays, but is still doable. I’ll write more about PPC marketing in the future.
